The Initial Consultation:
Before
I start any of my pet services with a new client, I need to complete a complimentary
consultation. During this time I will explain my services and answer any questions
you may have. I will also meet your pets to get their approval! During that meeting
I will discuss your pet's needs in detail and obtain all necessary information
to give your pet the best care and attention while you are gone. My services
are completely customized according to your needs.
During the initial consultation I will fill out a client profile on you, your home and your pet(s). At the time of my
initial consultation, I will also have you read and sign my service agreement
and discuss the fee structure. If all is acceptable, I will need to obtain a
house key from you at that time. I can provide regular daily visits (1-3 times
per day or more) or I can set up any schedule to suit your needs. For new clients,
I require payment up front which will be due at the time of the intitial consulatation or once you have made your decision to use my services.
Client/Pet Profiles
I maintain current contact information for each pet. I ask that you keep us informed
of any changes to this information so that I can respond accordingly in case
of emergency. This includes
all health information of the pet, owners home
and work numbers, cell phone numbers, vet's name, address and phone number, friend's,
relatives or neighbor's names and numbers. I also ask that your provide us with
a number where we can reach you during your time away.
Keys
I realize that clients may be apprehensive to give their keys to a pet sitter for
the first time. Please rest assured that this is my business and the way that
I obtain and keep clients is to provide the utmost in customer service. While
your keys are in my possession, they are stored in a locked key box when not
in use. Keys are coded and are not marked with your name, address or phone number.
I keep the codes and matching information separate from your keys.
Keys
will be returned after service is completed, if requested. For the safety of your pets and your
home, I cannot leave keys inside or under a mat after the last visit.
If
you wish to continue use of my services, you may wish to become a "Key-Hold
Client". A "Key-Hold Client" allows me to keep their
key safely locked in our key safe so that it can be used for future services.
This is also a great way to utilize immediate
need services or K9 to 5 Relief
Time. If I do not have your key on file, it may be much more difficult
for me to help out in a pinch if you need me. For more information about being a "key hold client", please click here

home and taking care of your pets.
